Gurugram store supervisor, good friend held for theft : The Tribune India | All Tech Sir

The Gurugram police arrested a former supervisor of a Reliance Digital Retailer and his good friend for allegedly stealing 60 iPhones from the shop.

The accused made a plan to promote the iPhones in Nepal, however the police managed to arrest them earlier than they may escape. In accordance with the police, on January 5, 60 iPhones, 4 good watches and two laptops have been stolen from the store situated at Ardee Mall in Sector 52. Following a grievance, an FIR was registered on January 6.

The crime unit of sector 40 on Monday arrested Narendra Kumar, who labored as a supervisor on the store, and his good friend and courier boy Ashok Kumar.

Narender revealed that since he knew concerning the retailer entry, he bought the duplicate retailer keys made and deliberate to steal these things.

“Narender admitted that with a view to get wealthy rapidly, he stole the objects from the shop. We recovered 57 stolen iPhones, 4 good watches and two laptops from their possession,” stated Preet Pal Singh Sangwan, ACP (crime).
