Hyundai Motorsport has appointed Cyril Abiteboul as Workforce Principal for Motorsport Week | All Tech Sir


Cyril Abiteboul has joined Hyundai Motorsport as group principal and can make his debut at subsequent week’s WRC opener in Monte Carlo.

The Frenchman will change interim appointee Julien Moncet, who will transfer to a brand new position at Hyundai in relation to future know-how in motorsport.

Abiteboul has in depth expertise and has labored in motorsport for 15 years previous to this appointment. He served as Deputy CEO of Renault Sport F1 and as Workforce Principal of Caterham F1.

Abiteboul’s announcement comes at an important time for Hyundai because the group hopes to finish Toyota Gazoo Racing’s two-year dominance of the producers’ championship.

Though he took a sabbatical from the trade after his earlier position, the 45-year-old is trying ahead to beginning his new job.
